When I was a primary school student, I longed for a schoolyard romance. What I wanted to do was to exchange letters secretly with the girl I liked during class. In my class, there were kids who actually did that, they wrote it on tiny pieces of paper and passed it on via friends. For instance, if I do a letter exchange with a girl who I’m lovey dovey with, an exchange like this would be the ideal: “somehow, you smell good today” à “I changed my shampoo”… Hey for some reason, I sound like a pervert (laughs). Well in reality, it’s something like drawing a caricature of the teacher and scribbling. The primary school students these days have all gotten used to cell phones and it’s not letters anymore… but that heart pounding feeling that comes with the letter is amazing! And meeting secretly with the girl you like in the science classroom after school ♡ That empty room is dim, and there are anatomical models placed around, it’s somehow… erotic, right (laughs). In the summer holidays of primary school times, basketball on the school grounds was standard. And then on the way home, I’d buy a coke and drink it. Opening a small hole in the can with a needle and drinking the coke that bursts out was our style ♪. It was only occasionally, but I was let into the school grounds at night. During the summer holidays, the school buildings are deserted, and it’s slightly scary. Especially at night, it’s not good! It’s somehow chilly. So we did dares at school during the night. Yep. It was an enjoyable summer break! Well, it would’ve been better if we didn’t have any homework… What I remember the most is the tooth-brushing calendar. In my case, my milk teeth had all fallen off even from the first day. From what I can gather, a tooth-brushing calendar is used to encourage young kids with milk teeth to brush their teeth every day. Evidently Inoo is an early developer. I was told by my mum, “Hurry up and get them pulled out in the beginning! It’s only natural to brush your teeth every day!” (laughs) But in reality, I was brushing my teeth every day, so it wasn’t a lie ♪
